About this mandala coloring page
Delicate and dense, this lace mandala is built like a crocheted doily. Twenty-four-fold symmetry repeats tiny petals, dots, scallops, teardrops and a fine lattice in nine rings, and each ring is slightly finer than the last. With 510 regions it is one of the most detailed pages on colorpaint, best approached over several short sessions with plenty of zooming. Despite the detail, the shapes are all closed and evenly spaced, so it never feels chaotic. Finished in soft pastels it looks like vintage lace; in deep jewel tones it looks more like a rose window. Either way, it is a page to save, print and frame.

Coloring tips
Zoom in to about four times and work one ring at a time. Use the eyedropper to pick up a color you already used, so repeats stay consistent around the circle. For a lace effect, color only every other ring and leave the rest white. Autosave keeps your progress, so it is fine to stop halfway and come back tomorrow.
