Tangle pattern coloring pages for adults

Tangle pattern pages divide a simple outline into sections with flowing lines, called strings, and fill each section with its own small repeating pattern: fish scales, stripes, nested aura lines, grids, waves, orbs, zigzags and scattered circles. The result is a rich patchwork of textures inside one clear shape, and it rewards slow, section-by-section coloring. In this category you will find square and round tangle tiles, a valentine heart, and friendly subjects such as an owl, a cat, a butterfly, a fish, a sea turtle, a moon, a leaf, a mushroom and a pumpkin. Tangle art is usually drawn in black ink only, so adding color brings out the textures in a new way. Try a single color in many shades for an elegant, tonal look, or give each section its own color for a stained glass effect. Every design here is original artwork drawn for colorpaint, and every page can be colored online, downloaded as a high-resolution PNG or printed.
