About this floral coloring page
Five poppies of different sizes bloom on tall stems against two gently rolling horizon lines. Each flower has two layers of broad, rounded petals and a dark center with radiating lines, like the seed head of a real poppy. The design has 88 regions, an easy page with big petals that are ideal for bold color. Poppies are traditionally red, but they also come in orange, white, pink and even purple, so feel free to mix them. The simple composition makes this a calm, quick page that looks like a vintage botanical poster when finished.

Coloring tips
Classic red poppies with nearly black centers look dramatic, especially with a soft yellow-green field and pale sky. For a softer version, try coral and peach petals. Use the gradient tool on the back petal layer only, so the front petals stay bright and flat. Add a little interest to the sky by coloring the two horizon bands in different soft blues.
