About this tangle pattern coloring page
A sea turtle glides through the water, seen from above. Its four flippers are filled with orb patterns, its head and tail peek out from the shell, and the shell itself is divided into a central hexagon surrounded by six sections of tangle patterns. A rim around the shell frames the design, and gentle wave lines at the top and bottom suggest the ocean. The page has 243 regions, a medium page with a calm, flowing feel. Sea turtles are a favorite ocean subject, and this design lets you mix natural greens and browns with bright ocean blues.

Coloring tips
Natural turtles use olive, brown and amber on the shell, but a turquoise and teal version looks like stained glass. Color the shell rim in a darker shade to outline the shape. Pale blue in the background water makes the whole turtle stand out. Try coloring the flipper orbs in a lighter tint of the shell color so the turtle reads as one creature, and give the head a speckled look with two close shades.
